The scary house is our first shot and highlights the horror feel straight away.
The street is also shown as an establishing shot.
The little girls room is stereotypical girls room and as an audience you know instantly that the film is going to feature little girls.
The bigger room is for the main character when she is older. It still has that girly feel but has a more mature feel.
