As we are a small, British company we will be seeking funds from the BFI to support our film.
The BFI support over 50 projects a year, from the treatment stage through to pre-prep. The BFI is also a fund which allows production companies more creative and financial freedom and provides support for digital projects developed to increase audience engagement with a film.
Each year we invest over £26m of Lottery funds to support film development, production and distribution activity in the UK and the budget is set to rise to £30m by 2017.

If our film was to be made on a bigger budget we would most likely seek for funding from 'Working Title' productions.
We would pitch our film to London based company Working Title, in hope that they would help us fund and produce our film. The company has been co-chaired by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner since 1992. It produces feature films and several television programmes and is allowed to produce any film of up to $35 million, on a practical basis, Bevan and Fellner must consult Working Titles parent company Universal as they make all the decisions.
